Mayflower Corps will be competing
in the forthcoming World Marching
Band Championships to be held in
London on July 25th and 26th.
Mayflower members will be parading
the 12 overseas competing Bands flags
in the Opening Ceremony on the Saturday,
Mayflower will then compete in the
Championships at 1.13 p.m. Tickets

Mayflower will be running a series
of Summer Dance Workshops taking
participants from the very basics
of dance through to a full
choreographed programme,and culminating
in two performances in September.
The workshops will be every fortnight,
starting on June 27th and are open
to all interested participants. If you

We are pleased to announce that Mayflower
have obtained a substantial sponsorship deal
from the US. We can now confirm that the
forthcoming WGI tour will once again be
heavily subsidised, enabling our members to
not only compete at the Championships in
Dayton, but to also take in a holiday prior
to the WGI Finals, possibly this year in
Florida. After the success of last years
tour our Guard are eagerly looking
forward to 1999, and with such an exciting
programme for '99 we are all convinced
that the '99 show will take us
even further into Finals.
